A Clinician Whose Career Embodies the Integration of Science, Humanity, and Whole-Body Wellness
Dr. Young is a general dentist with more than three decades of experience across integrated healthcare, functional medicine, chronic pain, trauma rehabilitation, sleep-disordered breathing, total wellness, and disease prevention. His work reflects a deep understanding of the oral–systemic connection, a biological foundation critical to Anera’s evolving focus on the microbiome, inflammation, and healthy aging.
A Distinguished Clinical and Academic Background
Dr. Young graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Dentistry in 1987 and completed Medical Acupuncture through the Faculty of Medicine in 1997. His professional affiliations include:

He is a director of the Tooth Fairy Children’s Foundation and has been involved in philanthropic dental missions across India, Bali, Peru, Brazil, Myanmar, and other regions.
He has also spoken internationally for organizations such as ICCMO, Ozone Masterclasses, and Frontiers of Ozone, sharing insights on oral-systemic health, craniofacial science, integrative care and oral supplementation so he is very excited to be helping Dr Willoughby and the rest of the Scientific Advisory Panel develop a novel line of Hyper-Dense Longevity Supplements and Protocols.
A Life Rooted in Human Experience….
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Young brings a rare depth of life experience. An avid downhill skier, martial artist, scuba diver, artist, and lifelong student of meditation and philosophy, he once lived as a Buddhist monk in Myanmar and has studied directly under His Holiness the Dalai Lama. These experiences shape his grounded, patient-centered philosophy of care.
He is happily married to his wife June, and together they have three adult sons.
